[It's kind of funny, what that does to Dice. The delay in his response might cause Gentaro alarm, but he doesn't mean for it to. He just... can't kinda believe any of this.

Honestly he's on an alien planet, he turns half cat twice a month, he's dating his best friend, because of this guy he met on the fucking street, and all of it is because he bet his life to get a mic for a thrill. He's not supposed to be here. Or doing this. Or having some weird stable kinda life. What is going on?

He still gambles, still takes risks, throws himself to the wolves, but somehow Gentaro distracts him from all that so often that he kind of wonders if he's getting soft.

Or maybe he's fucking growing up. Maybe it's time to stop rebelling as much and start living. Like hell is he going to become a responsible member of society, no fucking thanks, and anyway even Gentaro would find that boring... but he can be more reliable. He's already started doing that. For once in his life he saved money to get Gentaro the first Christmas gift he's ever given from his heart. He doesn't feel like a reckless idiot right now, even though he is one. He feels... really good. And he'll still gamble and take risks and keep Gentaro on his toes, but... they're more of a team now than ever.

Frankly, seeking a scapegoat and fucking off this incredibly long and serious thought process, he's decided to blame Cat.]
